Resources

Here is a non-exhaustive list/page where you can find my favorite resources. This includes other providers, podcasts, social media pages, and books.

all things grief

Waves

What's Your Grief: a fantastic website full of blogs, articles, and trainings/workshops to guide you through grief. They are also on social media!

Shelby Forsythia is one of my favorite grief authors. She's active on her socials and I got to review her latest book Of Course I'm Here Right Now.

Megan Devine is another of my favorite grief authors and her book It's OK That You're Not OK is my go-to suggestion for folks looking for answers. It also has a companion workbook/

birth stuff

Karen Kleiman has a series of fantastic books for the early postpartum parents. Good Moms Have Scary Thoughts is a great book to help normalize intrusive postpartum thoughts. What About Us? addresses the major relationship shift that can happen during pregnancy and postpartum. Unchecked is a great resource that looks at Postpartum OCD.

Jen Hamilton is a game changer in the birth industry. Her hilarious and honest stories about being an L&D nurse really help folks grasp what they're about to encounter in a way that isn't scary. She has a book, Birth Vibes, and is on multiple social media platforms.

Daisies
Moon Through Clouds

neurodivergence

How to Keep House While Drowning is a book I wish I had found much earlier than I did. KC Davis writes it for us neurodivergent folks in a way that is not judgey or full of shame.

LGBTQIA+

I offer free letters for gender-affirming procedures. They follow current WPATH standards of care and I will tailor them if your surgeon needs more. I can usually get these done within 2 weeks.

If your surgeon requires more than 1, I can connect you with other providers who would be happy to write a second letter.

Balloon Animal Silhouette

parenting

Mountain View Hiker

My favorite resource to suggest to parents is @birds__bees on Instagram. These ladies really break down how to talk with all ages about sex, our bodies, and the things our society doesn't like to talk about.

PDA (pathological demand avoidance) can be really tough to navigate as a parent. Low-Demand Parenting is a great beginner's book for parents trying to figure out how the hell to manage a kid who sees demands as a threat.

Good Inside is a parenting book that helps introduce a different approach. Dr. Becky is loved by millennial parents because of her more gentle, yet effective ways of parenting.
